A Man of God's legacy - Allan Hebert McLeod

This morning, Pr. Allan McLeod, my American grandfather, has passed away... to be with The Lord of Lords. He was a servant of the Lord during his peregrination on Earth and a kind of teacher of spirituality to our family.
He taught me so many spiritual lessons and prayed for me for such a long time... He (and Joan as well) helped me to be closer to God, seeking Him to know His will. They were used to confirm my ministry's call and to pray for my future wife. They gave me, before going back to the US, one of their beatiful pictures they had on their home walls. It was a photo of Minnehaha falls,in Minneapolis, the place where they got engaged. They gave me this and said: Richard, we're giving you this for we have been praying for your future wife, and this photo is a remider for you, that he will be faithfull to you in this area as well.
I'm wearing, right now, one of his jackets. He gave me one day before they returned to America. Our last days together in Brazil were so blessing and plesant. I remember helping them with the luggage and seeing a movie together, Flywheel, which they enjoyed very much. On that occasion they gave me a Leonard Ravenhill's book, Why Revival Tarries, which I started reading right away.
Pr. Allan McLeod left a precious legacy to many people and, particulary, for me and my family. we'll never forget him. May the Lord Jesus Christ fill Joan's life with His Holy and powerfull Spirit.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Ricardo R. França (McLeod)
